Daimler buys Aabar?s Mercedes stake

German carmaker Daimler is now in full control of the Mercedes Formula 1 team after buying the stake owned by Aabar Investments. Aabar owned a 40 per cent stake after first buying into the Brawn GP team in 2009 before the company and Daimler became the sole owners in 2011 , having acquired the stakes owned by team management including Ross Brawn and Nick Fry.
