Tristan Vautier survived late-race pressure from Sebastian Saavedra to claim his second Indy Lights victory of the season at Milwaukee. Vautier started from pole and led every lap, but he was forced to work hard for his win when his tyres began to fade in the final stages, allowing Saavedra to close in. The Colombian stayed close as they navigated lapped traffic, but despite repeated tries on both the high and low line, and a gentle bump from his left-front against Vautier's right-rear, he was unable to find a way past.
